125220948YackTrack is the next step in the evolution of the conversation.

I just read about this on Regular Geek via Corvida and Rob Diana. The service allows you too see comments on your post across a variety of services including Digg, Disqus, FriendFeed, Mixx, StumbleUpon, Technorati, and WordPress blogs, with plans for expansion.

Using YackTrack, I tracked the comments on my post We Need Social Media Interpreters, not more Evangelists.

I’m looking forward to YackTrack’s expansion and maybe a WordPress plugin *wink wink*? I’d like to be able to easily share with my readers the different choices for participating in discussion.

But will this satisfy those who are missing the comments on their blog? That depends on whether the argument was about fractured discussions or reduced income from pageviews in the first place.

Do you see YackTrack as a useful tool or is it just encouraging the “catastrophe” that is fractured discussion? It is just a tool for the blogger or can it give value to both reader and writer? Feel free to comment wherever, I’ll try and track you down with YackTrack .
